Leading not-for-profit retirement village provider Bolton Clarke has announced the acquisition of a retirement village in the Westmead area of New South Wales, cementing the operator’s presence in Sydney’s larger metropolitan area.
The acquisition includes an 8,300 square metre prime development site close to the major Westmead Hospital precinct, with approval for 64 independent living units.
Bolton Clarke’s newest property is part of a program of expansion and innovation aimed at building its capacity to deliver services on a national scale. They are also looking to reinvest in research and training to grow the broader health and aged care sector.
CEO for Bolton Clarke Group, Stephen Muggleton, said it was rewarding to see the momentum generated for innovation and increased capability to support residents and their other clients.
“Our vision is to provide our customers with the right support, health, wellbeing, accommodation and lifestyle services to meet individual needs across a continuum of care,” he said.
Currently, the group manages more than 6,000 existing residential aged care and retirement living units across Australia, with more set to join the ever-growing network. Mr Muggleton reinforces the belief that the Bolton Clarke commitment to care will be ingrained in each retirement village.
