Retirement industry leaders Aveo Group has announced an upcoming milestone at its brand new $400 million Bella Vista village. The roof of the complex’s first major building is set to be put in place this month, following the building’s topping out in November.
The $75 million first stage of the development, dubbed ‘Waratah’, is a nine-level vertical village that comprises 64 of Aveo Bella Vista’s 446 independent living units offering north-facing waterfront living options.
The Waratah building will also house the majority of community amenities, as well as a range of open plan apartments to accommodate retirees wanting to downsize without compromising on quality, space, location or lifestyle.
A range of one, two and three bedroom residences in the complex are priced from $525,000, while penthouses are available on Level 9 from $1,790,000.
This new Bella Vista retirement community is the principal retirement village in the Norwest vicinity. With a private hospital, metro rail and impending major revitalizations to the existing precinct, residents will enjoy all the benefits of living closely to a flourishing smart city.
Planned amenities within the Aveo Bella Vista retirement village are being compared to that of world-class five-star hotels, with the featured inclusions of a waterfront bistro, wine bar, snooker lounge, function areas and a revolutionary health and wellness suite, all accessed via a grand central hotel-style lobby.
Outdoor leisure and entertainment also will be a central piazza, home to outdoor BBQ dining, bowls and bocce courts, relaxation zones and a walking circuit that connects the gardens to the lakeside boardwalk.
CEO Geoff Grady said the topping out and roofing of the building marks a significant milestone for Aveo as it delivers a new standard of luxury in the industry.
“We’re extremely proud of how Aveo Bella Vista is coming together – it’s a testament to all the hard work our team has put in since construction began in early 2017,” Mr Grady said.
“Our focus is to offer seniors a space that reflects low-maintenance, high-quality and stress-free living, and that’s exactly what we’ve achieved here at Aveo Bella Vista.”
First residents of Aveo Bella Vista are expected to move in from mid next year, while a second building, Banksia, is also currently under construction and expected to be finalised in 2019, marking the end of Stage 1 construction of the village.
