Penrith City Council has chosen the private operator to develop a retirement village and aged care home on council land in central Penrith.
Following our news last week that Blue Care had bought Argyle Gardens in Bundaberg, the prominent Queensland Not For Profit has also purchased the Carlyle Gardens retirement villages in Townsville and Mackay from the receivers.
The Not For Profit provider is billing its new 102-bed Alice Ross-King Care Centre as a first for WA, with a resident-directed care model that allows residents to choose how they will spend their day.
