Calvary Health Care is planning to demolish their existing Bethlehem hospital in Caulfield South, 10km southeast from the Melbourne CBD, and replace it with a $73.3M precinct including an 80-bed aged care home and 85 independent living units housed in a 19-storey tower.
Home care is being opened up from March, and village operators can register to be home care providers, serving their existing and new residents.
The NSW-based Not for Profit secured the villages – Allambie Court at New Lambton, Kiah Court at Jesmond and Carinya Court at New Lambton – following an earlier expression of interest process by the Newcastle City Council last year.
