With the NBN rolling out across Australia, village operators are turning to innovative solutions to replace their old analogue/copper wire emergency call systems.
The Old Colonists’ Association of Victoria has revealed it will spend $26 million on extending two of its retirement villages in Melbourne.
The $100 million development will see 79 units and 90 aged care beds added to the Sydney-based operator’s campus at Randwick.
The operator has announced that they will spend $11 million extending their Somerton Park retirement village, 12km from the Adelaide CBD.
