Tea Tree Gardens Retirement Village has celebrated the 90th anniversary of the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia by raising $2,500 for the not-for-profit organisation at a village event.
Wests Group Macarthur has lodged a proposal to build 75 detached, semi-detached and attached homes and three three-storey buildings, each with 30 apartments, on 6.4ha overlooking the golf course’s lake.
The property developer has applied to NSW Planning to increase the number of homes at its planned Calderwood Valley community from 4,800 to up to 7,000 including independent living units and aged care facilities, potentially in the north-east corner of the 700ha site.
The Not For Profit is building 79 one-, two- and three-bedroom retirement village units and 90 aged care beds at its existing Randwick campus, 6km east of the CBD.
