Jane Ellis, manager of Forest Hills Retirement Village in Nunawading, East Melbourne has been crowned the Victoria/Tasmania winner of the 2018 Programmed Award for Village Manager of the Year. This is part of the National Retirement Living Awards, which recognises the contribution and achievements across all areas of the retirement living sector.
Retirement can be a time for creativity and originality and the residents at Newling Gardens Retirement Village are looking forward to proving that by inviting members of the public to attend an exclusive launch party to view their exhibition on Friday 26th October from 5pm to 7pm.
There was a hive of activity recently at Harwin Retirement Village when year 8 students from Thomas More College visited as part of a community service initiative.
The Thornton Park boutique retirement village development will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom luxury apartments on Empire Circuit, a short walk to Penrith railway and shopping precinct and will also boast a café, hair and beauty salon, multi-purpose community centre, library, media room and community workshop.
Twenty six one- and two- bedroom units have been added to the village which is located on the mid north coast region of NSW. Another 13 units are expected to be completed before Christmas, effectively doubling the size of the village complex.
