Aged care operators are turning to big ad agencies to promote their services ahead of the introduction of CDC on February 27, according to media and marketing website Mumbrella.
Listed on the ASX, the private operator has announced deregulation is leading them to expand its home care services to Mildura in Victoria and Darwin as well eastern metropolitan Melbourne and Cairns in QLD.
The deal will see Optus Business become the primary provider of Uniting’s communication services across more than 200 sites.
The private company, led by founder Jon Kontopos – a colleague of Bill Moss – increased its initial $2M offer after it attracted stronger than expected interest from a number of high-profile investors.
The 160-bed Karingal Green aged care home will be built by the family-owned operator at High Wycombe, 18km from the Perth CBD.
