Merton Living has opened another 20 unit retirement village five minutes from the centre of Denman in the Upper Hunter region of NSW, now giving the organisation 46 occupied units in total within the town.
Residents at Love Decency Kindness Healthcare’s flagship village in Tuggeranong, Canberra (site pictured), will be able to pay an exit fee of $175,000 – called a membership fee – upfront, as a monthly payment of $3,083 (for a total of $185,000) or when they leave the village of $195,000, according to Aged Care Gurus Principal Rachel Lane.
Aveo Group and Deputy Mayor Patricia White have officially opened the $12 million new stage to Aveo’s Island Point community in the St George’s Basin on the NSW South Coast.
The village operator’s plans to build four five-storey buildings plus a resident clubhouse and health and wellbeing services with 280 apartments next to its Pines Shopping Centre in Doncaster East had been knocked back in May over the carpark design and a lack of building setbacks.
