The 100 year old NSW Not For Profit plans to expand the existing Horizons Village in west Dubbo, which it purchased five months ago, from 120 to 200 units and build a 60-bed aged care facility (low care and high care) on 10,000 square metres of land next door.
The family-run operator has purchased the 52-unit Lifestyle Estate village in Dingley Village from Australian Lifecare Developments adding a seventh village to its existing portfolio across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Hobart.
The 7.5 hectare development known as the Health and Wellbeing Precinct at the University’s Innovation Campus will feature 199 independent retirement units, a 108-bed aged care facility, childcare centre and retail shops.
The five-storey development in West Lakes, 14km from the CBD, will feature a three-storey, 108-bed aged care facility, an 18-bed memory support unit and 17 retirement living apartments. The street frontage will include a café and hairdresser plus retail and allied health services.
Located on the site of the old Kiama Hospital and just 10 minutes’ walk from the beach, Kiama Council’s Blue Haven Bonaira development will include a 134-bed aged care facility and 59 retirement living units.
